What is Pikalara?

It’s the Kannada name for the beautiful 'Red Whiskered Bulbul' – found in most parts of India, one of many bioindicators.

Pikalara is a silent scream in the urban jungle. It is a recognition that the abundance of nature is slowly giving way to human greed and is an attempt to create biodiversity awareness through various wildlife related programs.
